Personal definition of "topsoil" differs. We understand that not everyone's soil needs are the same. For specific applications, please inquire, so we can get you the best soil for your needs. We recommend purchasing your soil based on application, not price.
Our soils are true soil mixes. They all contain sand, silt, clay, as well as organic matter and nutrients. They are not "bagged mixes." Many "bagged mixes" contain ZERO "soil". The soil lasts forever, everything else decomposes and will need to be amended each growing season.
We do recommend a thin layer of mulch or compost on top of your soils to help maintain moisture and keep soil cooler; the end result will be a humus rich soil.

This soil is local and is a great base soil to create any soil you need. It has been screened and has some organics added to help hold moisture. Its about a 33/33/33 (+/-5) mixture of sand, slit and clay.

Certified Soil

This is a sandy loam mixture with organics (3-6%). It's been 3/8" screened and maintains 60-70% sand ratio. It is Utah Certified, meaning it has been tested to meet these specifications.

This compost is wood based. Add it to soil to help break up clay and hold moisture. Also good for topping for temperature control. It is a variety of different wood (very low percentage of pine and ceder, if any)
Manure Compost

This compost is made from cow manure. Add it to your soil to add nutrients back. Composted and temperature controlled. Unscreened.

Mushroom Compost
